Hi Matteo !

My name is Angelescu Ovidiu and using some ideas from
your's freesbie port i have made a FreeBSD live CD
called RoFreeSBIE Ro comes from Romanian and FreeSBIE
of course from you.
I suggest you to save all modified files from /etc
instead of some files that exists there. It may be
modified /etc/firewall , /etc/sysctl.conf /etc/ttys
depends what user wants. Why oblige him to save only a
few files from /etc instead to gave him full
posibilites?
If a user runs named it is also need to save some
/var/named files.I agree with /root and /usr/local/etc
and /home/freesbie.
If you have a scripts directory as in FreeSBIE-1.1
maybe a good idea is to save this directory too.If a
script is bad it will be replaced at boot time with a
new one ( this is usefull for testing purpose).
Another suggestion .....
In /etc/rc.conf exists a lot of posibilities. To not
treat them separately load the restore script before
/etc/rc.conf is read and of course after you have
mounted filesystems and there are writable.
I have made this on my Live CD (RoFreeSBIE) and it
works well.
Hope that suggestions will be appreciated.
All the Best !
Keep working the good job!
Congratulations to became a FreeBSD commiter too!
