Christoph,
Sorry that it took me so long. I like the method that you have
outlined, I would go a step further, though, and divide code contributors
into two groups:
1. Code contributors
2. Bug fixers
People like you would go into the first category, people like me into the
second (since I did submit some bug fixes back when and should hopefully be
able to do so again in the future, once I get access to a linux box (not at
work) again.
