Checker claims that it implements a garbage collector to check for memory
leaks; this would be just what I'd need. (It only works on ia32, sparc,
and (apparently) pa-risc, though.)
OTOH, I might as well try Purify at work tomorrow. It has the disadvantage
of being non-free, but I keep reading about how great it is supposed to
be, so I guess I now have an excuse to try it myself :->
(I need to run more checks on Solaris anyway.)
