I have gotten builds up and running on win32: 1. There are no dependencies on any libraries or headers external to Visual C++ 6 and the Platform SDK. (No cygwin, hermes, glib, zlip, etc.) NOTE: VC6 Service Pack *5* is Required. 2. All builds now generate PDBs and browse information by default. Executables and DLLs are compiled to be relocatable. 3. It is currently using the directdraw driver, which appears to be incomplete. Once I get the build process stabilized, I will try and integrate SDL. 4. As far as functionality, I was able to: load HQ1, use the mouse/keyboard, watch some of the intro. When I try to create a new character, there are some misdraws and it appears to lock up. 5. I've sent Chris the new project files, etc. Once those are in CVS I will get tweak things more to see what else needs to be done. I would not attempt building on win32 until my next update gets into CVS. I'll send a mail to the list when I think it is ready for other people to try it out :) -- http://www.clock.org/~matt
