I noticed that we are spending a good amount of CPU time redrawing the
cursor when it may not be necessary to do so. It might speed things up a
bit if we only redraw the cursor when it moves/changes, the pic is
redrawn, a textbox is displayed, or it shares coordinates with an
animation.

I know we are in code freeze and this won't make it in, but wanted to
mention it as an idea before I forgot :)
