I'd like to apologize for abusing the list for what is essentially a
private e-mail, but I couldn't think of a different medium to use for
this...
Chris, I'm getting failure notices whenever I try to send an e-mail to
you. I received your original mail and replied to it (without success);
now I tried again- of a total of four e-mails spread over the last 2.5
weeks, none appears to have reached you.
(At least not initially. Meanwhile, I have received the five-day timeout
for the two mails I sent earlier.)
Thanks for going through the trouble of contacting me again, and sorry for
choosing this means of getting back to you (and failing to do so by more
conventional means)!
Anyway, regarding your initial e-mail: Considering your statements and the
time that has passed, I'll take the offer and assume that it would be OK
to publish the address now (originally, I wanted to check back with you a
week later).
By the way, to you have an alternative e-mail address I could send to? I
can still receive your mails, but neither of the addresses at
cs.alfred.edu and at screech.cs.alfred.edu appear to like the hosts I
send from...
