This does prevent the crashing when going out to the pier. Instead, I see:
Warning: Warning: Kernel function 0x55 invoked: NOP

I see the same error when going into the scene wit hthe unicorn. I'm sure
this is a bug, but it's funny to watch -- when the unicorn leaves the
scene, it looks like it's moonwalking. That is, it's walking backwards out
of the scene.

When I pick up the ball under the bridge, now I see:
ERROR: Error: Attempt to kfree() non-handle
ERROR: Selector 'delete' of object at b680 could not be invoked
(E:\src\freesci\src\engine\kgraphics.c L1762)
Warning: Object at b680 requested deletion, but does not have a delete
funcselector

Then, sciv locks up.

This is a definite improvement, though -- thanks Lars!
