Subject: FreSCI report from Linux fan

Hi Cristopher,
My name is Slavej Karadjov and I am writing this letter ot inform you
of some bugs or inaccuracies in FreeSCI.
First I'd like to congratulate you and the whole team working on
FreeSCI. You are doing wonderful work guys. I succeded to play games
with sound/via Timidity/ and I'm very pleased with the graphic effects.
I'd like you to add one game KQ1 SCI remake that can be played( to
some extent) to your list of games. KQ1 SCI version is working very
well, but some of the pictures cannot be drawn. Since this is SCI 1.0
game, may be you will implement more de/compression methods later.
I have some problem with IceMan. In the beginning, there is a moment
in the game when Iceman plays volley with some girls and the ball jumps
in the sea. When Iceman tries to save the drowning girl, FreeSCI locks
up and you can type commands but nothing is happening. The second big
problem that I came upon in IceMan is when Iceman enters the submarine.
The next screen shows his room BUT FreeSCI isn't visualizing IceMan and
the game locks again.
I also have problems with Space Quest 3 -- my favourite game. After
the intro when Roger jumps out of the pod the game+misuc starts to loop
endlessly.

I used for the test FreeSci 0.3.2a compiled on Linux Slackware. I didn't
have the above problems using the original SCI.

Sincerely,
   Slavi

P.S: Excuse me for my english
