Hi guys! I'm happy to report that I have finished Police Quest II: The Vengeance (version 1.002.011) using freesci 0.3.2a. I just noticed on the www page that Magnus beet me to it :(( Too bad... Screenshots and savegames can be found at http://www.phys.uu.nl/~zoetekw/pq2 While playing, I found some bugs: - error when typing "drive to mall": Error while parsing SAID spec: parse error Offending spec was: / mall[891] [ < ( tree[91e] < fig[a76] ) , to[096] ] otoh, "drive to oak tree" does work - other ones: Error while parsing SAID spec: parse error Offending spec was: display[3e9] / mugshot[8e3] , painting[9c1] , [shot[8e2] < mug[8e1] ] Error while parsing SAID spec: parse error Offending spec was: / *[fff] < ( hijacker[9fa] , dude[848] ) < unmasked[23d] Error while parsing SAID spec: parse error Offending spec was: / *[fff] < ( hijacker[9fa] , dude[848] ) < masked[23c] - Some midi warnings: Unrecognised MIDI event b9 42 00 for handle 95ce Unrecognised MIDI event b9 41 00 for handle 95ce - when first arriving at cotton cove, sonny can walk through keith - after bains and the jogger have left in the cotton cove scene, keith keeps moving his legs, even when he isn't moving. Also, he can walk backwards and through the tree. - underwater (leftmost screen), sonny can swim through the rocks - the phone does not accept numbers with a dash. For example: 555-5432 has to be typed as 5555432 to be accepted. - sometimes i get the following warning: FSCI: kEmptyList: Warning (klists.c L213): Warning: EmptyList() was invoked with 1 parameters - i still have some problem saving en restoring: * if i delete all savegames while the game is running, I cannot save anymore. * if I restore a game from the beginning scene, I get a segfault. If I first get out of the car, I _can_ restore it. The bug #??? about the crash when arriving at oak tree mall I could not reproduce.
