I sent the patch to be applied to CVS -- I don' have write priviledges
myself, but maybe I should..

I'm not sure what VC++ problem is happening with the files. It works fine
for me using the CVS included with cygwin.

Sending a unified diff to Christoph might be best. Check this url for

If it's win32 fixes, I'd like to be cc'd on the diff and ChangeLog as
well.

I'm going to be away from IRC for the next week or so, but will be
answering email. Christoph or Lars are usually on #freesci on
irc.openprojects.net, if you want to hang out there and try to catch them
:)
