It's been re-licensed under the LGPL in a different project (adplug.sourceforge.net), apparently with explicit permission from the author. I contacted both Simon Peter of adplug and Tatsuyuki Satoh last week (following suggestions and discussions on #freesci), but haven't heard back from them yet. If we use adplug's code, which is completely LGPL'd, we'll even get a song file parser for SCI01/SCI1 music. llap, Christoph
