I don't know if there's really a demand for this, but, considering our current strategy of releasing infrequently despite planning to do otherwise, this sounds like a good idea! (Once per week might be enough, though- I remember cursing the tetex-base (~ 12 MB) maintainer for updating this package three or four times in a single week (needed to download it twice every time over an ISDN line).
