Hi,

Well, we've got to release one of these days, and if we don't do it soon,
we're not going to do it for another two months. Let's refrain from adding
features now; a code freeze (i.e. no fixing game related bugs in the
tagged CVS branch) will start on sunday, 0:00 UTC. Any changes that go in
afterwards must be among the following:

- Documentation updates
- Build fixes (thoroughly tested, of course)
- Changes in text strings within the program, if they have been tested

Unless something unexpected happens, we'll release on thursday evening
(european). Then we'll brace for impact and start recording bug reports...

The following platforms MUST be built for and (if possible) run on:

- Alpha/<something> (a)
- IA32/Linux (a)
- SPARC/Solaris (a)
- IA32/Win32

It SHOULD be built on and tested for:

- ARM/<something>
- PPC/<something>
- <something>/BeOS

(a): This is something I can definitely test on, unless disaster strikes

llap,
 Christoph
