I had a few problems with my XP after updating a "keyboard" driver from Windows Update. Probably a bomb for all us pirates using the same version ;> I got it running again after booting into reverting to the Last Known Good configuration, then booting into Safe Mode, and then booting normally. Of course, my current hardware is nearing the end of it's life.
