I am not sure at what sources you are looking here? Anyway, the semi-
official ScummVM-FreeSCI integration project apparently does not
suffer from this problem. And I am not sure whether the FreeSCI folks
are interested to modify their sources at this point to improve your
personal experience with using their engine in ScummVM ;)
