Can you turn on the View Logs menu option and send me the contents of the log windows? Also, after you try hitting the "volume stats" and "surface stats" buttons, look in the directory from which you ran csurf to see if there are files called .xdebug_tkmedit and/or .xdebug_tksurfer, and if so, can you send me their contents?
