Well if we get mod_clr working, you'll be able to host CLR code in process, 
then take advantage of MS's CLR COM Interop. You could try it out with 
mod_mono; it seems that there's a tiny bit of support:

I am in need for a FreeSwitch COM interface.

Is there any functionality in mod_lua to interface to Microsoft COM objects.

If not is it overly complex to include the LuaCOM library.
