Deb official package need to be in accordance with debian rules. This apply also for debian files in trunk. As they are, I think, they need second look. On Ubuntu -8.10 you can compile fresswitch with no problem, but problems are during creating packages (version 1.0.2) - I needed them to install in machine with compiler. At least, I got problem with -Werror (needed to modify Makefile) and I find that post install debian file does not create proper ownership for directory freswitch.
