How do you check out the project using git? I just did a "git clean -f -d -x" from git bash and it compiles fine afterwards - but I still get the ws2_32.dll inet_ntop not found issue.

Did you make sure to set autocrlf=false in the git config before checking out the files from the repository? Another thing, it must be compiled on XP to support the internal inet_ntop.
