Oh, well that could explain why I had problems initially setting it up using rc’s, because .configure (as well as everything after, of course) didn’t work. The only way I found to fix that was using the bootstrap script I found in the snapshots prior to anything else. So, I hope the bootstrap script doesn’t disappear from svn anytime soon. Or, maybe I should? ;)
The wiki also suggests running the bootstrap script prior to making, last I checked. (I forget exactly what it told me to do; I just remember how I was able to do it.) Does it need to be updated to reflect any of this? Semi-related: I love the ‘make current’ bit.
