The MSI installed without errors but the runtime crashed on start. This happened in 3 different customer-premise (Greenfield) demonstrations. In all 3 scenarios, the old RC-6 MSI was downloaded and was working fine.
I didn’t test it myself. Just thought to raise a flag. As for flite, you’ll need to get the original http://www.speech.cs.cmu.edu/flite/packed/flite-1.3/flite-1.3-release.tar.gz downloaded locally, apply flite-1.3.99.msvs.patch on it as described in http://jira.freeswitch.org/browse/FSBUILD-62 and it will compile and work. Hopefully, soon this will be available from /downloads/libs shortly. _____ From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Carlos Talbot Sent: Monday, July 28, 2008 5:44 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Freeswitch-users] Win32 distributable UV, does the MSI install without errors? Did you remember to install the MS C++ 2008 redistributable pacakge? I've uploaded latest Windows build to this site: http://pbxinaflash.com/tusc/ You can download it there or wait until tonight for it to sync up with files.freeswitch.org. This is built off svn 9180 w/ mod_cepstral, mod_shout and mod_pocketsphinx compiled along with the 8hz and 16hz files. I couldn't get flite going for now. Carlos 2008/7/27 UV <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> The executable distributed with http://files.freeswitch.org/freeswitch.msi doesn't seem to work. Looks like a faulty package. I've also added a fix for the Win32 FreeSwitchSetup on JIRA I recommend using.
