Looks like it! I must admit that I have very little experience with it…. it
just looked like an additional toy to add to the bag of tricks. I’ve seen it
used on mail servers and I think SQL Server now has the option. Both sound
like things that would have long running client connections for which you
want the simplicity of dedicated threads but not the overhead.
