It's a suggestion not a demand. If you follow the link it's a list of products and services related to FS.
We prefer that anyone who wants to sell stuff made from FS or as an accessory to FS would consider sponsoring the project or ClueCon. We provide both commercial and free support for FreeSWITCH and the amount of free help we have time to give is directly impacted by how many people who use FreeSWITCH for commercial purposes give back to us in the form of volunteer developers, support contracts and sponsorship.
