I am the morning keynote for the Tuesday session of the Wireless
Innovation Forum. I will include a short bit about Codec2. Lots of
commercial two-way and telephony folks will be there.
The audio seems to be acceptable and not significantly different from
the non-VQ version.
I am interested in how temporal delta coding would work with 4-frame
(currently our "packet" is 2 frames) 8-frame and 16-frame packets. If it
works well that potentially gives us a way to use the codec on HF. I
don't know a thing about how to interpolate VQ or LSP data.
