As far as I know, at 8000 Kbaud, you're going to have a "audio" signal
of at least 8 Khz (if not more). Aren't the transceivers going to filter
this on their bypass-deempĥasis port?
I don't know if any radio will accept such a signal, even at their 9k6 port.

(Does anybody have any experience what is the maximum frequency that is
accepted on the "9k6" port of a typical radio?)
