Just found your newsletter site and webpages. I'm still working through your
codec2 pages, seen the lecture video and now thumbing through the thesis.
It has been an education as I am:-
1. Most definitely not a mathematician
2. An amateur programmer
3. A radio amateur with an interest in digital communications.
The ham shack PC now has Linux plus sox, Octave, and your codec2 files.
Just a thought - as a contribution could I, for testing purposes, perhaps
create some sample speech .raw files with various 'difficult' background noises?
