Thanks for the response. I am sure I can make some progress here. Let me first
check on some of the documentation that is there for the compiled C code and
API calls. It may help me zero on on some of the existing work. I did
something similar in WINMOR using Viterbi encoder/decoder in C by Phil Karn but
eventually re wrote it in VB to handle some robustness issues.
Let me spend a day or two digging more into your suggestions. I believe I have
a few weeks to get this going based on my friends status and prognosis...you
never know however!
