Thanks Bruce, you answered my question.
Seeing that the max freq. is 8000/2 leaves you with a max bandwidth of 4k
at 50/symbols/s.
I'm toying with the idea of being able to use 20k or 25k bandwidth on
VHF/UHF but keeping the same symbol rate.
Meaning I would need to change the sample rate to 40,000 or so.
The really neat thing is you could run over to 30kbps!
Anyways thanks for your thoughts, I'm going to look into it a bit more.
