Hi all;
I am ham radio operator and electronic technician with some PIC
microcontrolers-programming pratice.

What about an HEX code for PIC or other microcontroller or DSP running codec2 ?
There are AMers here in South America thinking about digital modes on our 3.6
MHz carriers. Something like a box to connect between the microphone and the
transmitter audio input and, also, between the receiver audio output and the
earphone, making possible talking and listening without all that
bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz caused by todays electrical interference. That is, an
encoder/decoder small unit.
We made satisfatory experiences using windows and Linux running Codec
softwares, but the idea is an equipment "PC-free", because so our old-old
operators do not need to learn about computers.
Thank you and sorry my poor english;
