What's "the git repository"? Is there an "official" mirror on github or 
somewhere? I know Sourceforge has some option for git access, but I 
couldn't figure out how to use it for codec2, so I did a local git-svn 
instead. Still, these days, I think a publicly visible git repository 
would be nice. I'd be happy to help.
