Ok, I think I have the cmake configs fully updated (except there's no
static hamlib option yet) for the source changes that were made but I have
a couple of new questions.

1. Explicitly adding the headers to the freedv binary.

I copied the existing makefile here, but I'm wondering (since I'm not a
programmer) if the header files are groked in with a #include statement in
the companion c source file, do we need to be explicitly pulling them in as
a source file?

2. golay23

Where does this belong? The automake config for the codec2 library doesn't
use it but a couple of the binaries do. In fdmdv2, it gets pulled in
through a "reach around" into the codec2-dev source directory, which is a
bad practice IMHO.

In my initial cmake config I went ahead and included it in the codec2
library which seemed to work fine but I later commented it out when I
realized it wasn't in the makefile, which appears to have broken linking of
freedv.

Thanks,
Richard
