This may very well be the same problem as on windows when doing a release
build, but when I close freedv on linux I get the following in the terminal:
$ freedv
sox_biquad_start(void)
rig:rig_close called
rig:rig_cleanup called
sox_biquad_finish(void)
freedv: effects_i_dsp.c:118: clear_fft_cache: Assertion `fft_len >= 0'
failed.
Aborted (core dumped)
All the data I could get on Windows seemed to point to sox as well...
