We broke even. I expected to donate about as much as I did. There was
also an Office Depot bill for some supplies which I took care of
out-of-pocket, and I bought a printer on site to replace the one that
Anthony had been bringing and then sent it home, billing the shipment
(but not the printer) to the project.
Do please tell me if I have missed anything.
We spent too much on a number of things and can do better next time:
Banners are much cheaper without rush service.
We will not need the printer and its shipping cost next time. We
will print everything on vinyl.
We will have our own UPS account and will use pre-made labels next
time, and hopefully will pay less.
We paid Hamvention for some facilities we did not use.
We took a $40 hit for buying the second booth late.
We pulled it off, it worked excellently, we didn't go to the poor house.
This is the most expensive trade show I expect us to have. I'm really happy.
