I tried to snag the sources from scratch again, starting at this page for
instructions:

     http://freedv.org/tiki-index.php

There's a line that says this:

"You can also build from source code(external link), project files are in the
fdmdv2 and codec2-dev folders. Information on how to set up read-only access to
Subversion is here(external link)."

With "source code" and "here" being links. Clicking on "here" takes you to:

     http://sourceforge.net/projects/freetel/

Clicking on "Code" there takes you to:

     http://sourceforge.net/p/freetel/code/?source=navbar

Which has command lines for doing an svn checkout. Neither of the commands
listed there worked for me:

     svn checkout svn://svn.code.sf.net/p/freetel/code/ freetel-code
     svn checkout http://svn.code.sf.net/p/freetel/code/ freetel-code

The one which finally worked was this:

     svn checkout http://freetel.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/freetel
freetel-code

Which I figured out myself by looking around the web pages a bunch more
(Freetel/FreeDV/Codec2) and fixing up the URL a bit until I got it to work.

It would be helpful to update the Freetel/FreeDV/Codec2 pages to list working
svn checkout commands right there on the web pages, for those Linux users that
don't run RHEL/CentOS/Fedora (or just want to play with sources). It might get
a few more people playing with code.

Thanks!
