Ok, I'll break the separate topics into different messages. First up is codec2 itself. For use with FreeDV, it seems the packaging and install are the only pieces that need work... my questions are:
1) Golay23 stuff isn't included in the library and the header isn't installed by make install. The FreeDV build seems to assume it is though. I had to manually install the header and add golay23.o to the .a file to get it to work. 2) Why no shared object? I would prefer to install a dynamic library than a static one... is it just because the build system doesn't make one? If so, I can whip up a cmake list pretty easily.
