True. Looks like the instructions are out of date. Thanks for picking that up. It appears the modem is also broken in codec2 and codec-dev, as this: ./fdmdv_get_test_bits - 14000 | ./fdmdv_mod - - | ./fdmdv_demod - - | ./fdmdv_put_test_bits - doesn't work for me in the latest codec-dec & codec2, but does work in an earlier version I have laying around (SVN revision 1342). The correct output is something like: "---------------+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---" The "+ indicate sync. Not sure why, and it' slate for me here now. codec-dev is a work in progress (I'm messing with several aspects of the modem) so that doesn't surprise me.
