It's slow but moving.
For those that may not have caught the other thread relating to this, I've
settled on the msys2/mingw development environment.
The main reasons are:
1. One place for everything, no getting msys from one place and mingw-w64
from another.
2. It's repository based with package management (pacman borrowed from Arch
linux).
3. Most of the dependencies are already built and available. The only
exception (other than the obvious codec2) is sox.
The only major problem I have right now is that I'm using a dumb list of
dll's the installer packages up to attempt to have a working install. This
really only works right now with my Fedora MinGW environment. I'm working
on making the DLL collection process more intelligent but I'm running into
some issues that hopefully the cmake mailing list can help me out with. If
you want more details on what the specific issues are, please let me know,
otherwise I'll report when I have it fixed.
Thanks,
Richard
