Ahh brilliant, wasn't aware of the freedv_tx program, and having that file should be a fairly good reference too. I think the best plan of attack regarding my firmware mods would be to backport them to the version released on the SM1000 (I'm not sure what revision number that was, but I'm told it was some time in March). Then I should be able to figure out what's broken.
