Hello Nouman,

Codec2 is an Amateur Radio project. We don't wish for Amateur Radio to be
viewed as dangerous by the many nations that host it, or for digital voice
codecs to come under export restrictions. Thus, we must not support
military development of our technology. This is the mutual conclusion of
the core developers with whom I've discussed the issue. We ask that you
respect this decision and not come to the mailing list with questions. Nor
will we support military development by the United States or any other
nation on this list - they have the resources to help themselves. Obviously
the code is Open Source and we can't stop you from using it.

    Thanks

    Bruce
