Good thinking Walter - yes the frequency offset estimator on the 700 modes has a narrower range as we don't have the extra sycn carrier like 1600 (the sync is carrier inside the data carriers).
It is also quite easy to "bump" the red tuning line at the bottom of the spectrum/waterfall and mis tune, I get caught by that one at times.
