My 2c You can do alot with a STM32F4/F7. There is plenty of blood in that stone.
MUCH more than most people think. A good programmer can get plenty out. be smart about cache , now. Writing code that works on PC AND STM32 is a bit of a drag I think if you can let go of that chain. really. My 8-32 channel commercial SDRs use FPGA coupled to a single STM32F4/F7 that does all demod , mod, filtering, signalling, modems..x8 , x16 ... I actually used to have the entire SDR in FPGA but the software effort to tweak modems and the demods was too high, hence the stm32 via 80 Mbps SPI interface..... The next programming effort step is NEON in the A5. I prefer NEON over SSE... g ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most engaging tech sites, SlashDot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot _______________________________________________ Freetel-codec2 mailing list Freetel-codec2@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/freetel-codec2
