Yes, I have the same problem, as I do most of my C and Java coding
using Netbeans IDE.

I have Netbeans sort of working with the SM1000 development, but I
have to go through every file to get rid of all the development stuff,
and experimental stuff. All I want is the Mode 1600, so there's a lot
of "null code" to remove to build a small image.

The cmake and Makefile are pretty neat, but I'm very rarely in the VI
mode anymore.

Although I'm learning Julia language, so there's no IDE yet, and I'm
back to manual development mode.
