or not. You can just push data onto the channel and accept loss in the case
of UDP over IP. TCP is designed for unreliable channel anyways so no issue
there. I would think that ARQ can be detrimental in the case you want to
use TCP/IP as it can cause a behavior similar to TCP over TCP.
