Hi Steve and Sholto,

Sholto - Thanks for the offer of testing. What would be really nice is some gcc work on the STM32F4 platform, e.g. X-compile, run unit tests, cmake tweaks, small optimisations.

There is some work going on in this area: Richard is working on a cmake build system for the SM1000, and Danilo is having a first pass at 700D on a later (and somewhat more powerful) STM32 CPU.

Steve - IIRC we have 512 MByte of flash, with about half used, so I think Codec 2 700C will fit in flash.

Cheers,

David

that platform (or any other testing req'd).

The 700 codec has a huge quantization table (81,920 bytes).

I think we're going to need a bigger boat...
