ORI sounds like a good idea. SourceForge has been a bit unstable
lately, so I wouldn't be opposed to a move. I think it's more up to
Dave learning git (or hg or bzr) than anything :)

RE: Microsoft, it's still a large for-profit company so I'd be careful
in trusting it
