Hi all,
David has recently added support for decoding the 'Horus Binary' modem into
freedv-dev. No issues running this under Linux and Windows, so it seems.
However, compiling under OSX (I'm on 10.11) produces an odd bug where i get
a "Bus Error: 10" (which I think is essentially a segfault) after one
second of audio.
I'm wondering if any of the other OSX users on here could try and compile
the latest freedv-dev revision and see if the bug can be repeated?
To reproduce:
- Set up sound cards in Audio Config -> Receive tab as appropriate. Set
both sound cards in Transmit tab to none.
- Select the 'HorusB' mode.
- Hit Start, and wait. On my machine I get a crash after one second.
Would be very interested to know if this is compiler-specific or some some
kind of optimiser bug, hence looking for someone else running OSX to give
it a go.
