Hi List,

just a heads up for everyone using the new modes.
It will sound a little different than the samples from the blog post.

The reason is a plosive detection system using no additional bits, which slightly increases quality.
Mainly the 'T' and 'D' is improved.

Thats all from me,
Thomas

Hello List.

Thomas has supplied me with patches for the new 450 and 450WB modes. It
all works just fine and everything is checked into codec2-dev SVN 3740.

I tested it using:

$ ./c2enc 450 ../../raw/ve9qrp_10s.raw - | ./c2dec 450 - - | aplay -f S16

$ ./c2enc 450PWB ../../raw/ve9qrp_10s.raw - | ./c2dec 450PWB - - | aplay
-f S16 -r 16000

Thomas pointed out the encoder is the same for both modes so:

$ ./c2enc 450 ../../raw/ve9qrp_10s.raw - | ./c2dec 450PWB - - | aplay
-f S16 -r 16000

will also work.

Thanks Thomas :-)
