So sorry to hear that U. Malta has that IP policy. Perhaps you can be one
of the people introducing the institution to Open Source in research
and also Open Publication. Besides publishing your work with the
appropriate licenses, please consider submitting the result to a journal
with an Open Publication policy. There are many to choose from these days.
