Hi all, I've been having problems with my "parrot" repeater all this year. Crashing occasionally. I've now recovered from a lightning strike in March. So back to testing.
Looking at the sourcecode of "freedv_tx" with the command line option "--codectx" I should be able to generate the raw WAV file data to send to my sound card. Is this correct? ~/bin/freedv_tx 700C 2018-08-26-11.46.38_to_radio.700C junk --codectx The output file is not anywhere near long enough. OK then. But, in mode 700D it crashes: ~/bin/freedv_tx 700D 2018-08-26-11.46.38_to_radio.700C junk --interleave 1 --codectx energy:6978.305664 Segmentation fault (core dumped) This file 2018-08-26-11.46.38_to_radio.700C is readily playable with: c2dec 700C <file.700C> - | aplay -f S16 In my "parrot" repeater I don't want to go all the way to audio and then recode back to 700D. Is there a problem with this approach? Alan VK2ZIW --------------------------------------------------- Alan Beard OpenWebMail 2.53
