That works.
I now have a freedv-gui version with working tx. Besides during regular
user initiated transmissions, it can also key for data only transmission
when packets are received on the interface. So just leave the gui
running in the 'start' state and you have a fully functional packet
radio setup.
I could not test the receive side yet, it took me a while this evening
to figure out that in case of a stereo signal only the left channel is
used. My discriminator output hapened to be connected to the right
channel...
So I'll have to try again with the wires swapped.
